About the Company
Eva Longobardi, President/Owner
Northeast Diving Services, Inc. specializes in the
underwater survey/ repair of ships and ship structures.
We are a private company, with knowledgeable personnel, and take pride in providing quality service and attention to detail.
From damage assessments to routine in-water surveys, clients can be assured; all information is kept in the strictest of confidence.
Serving the Northeast Region, from New Jersey to Maine, our dive teams are on call 24 hours a day, and equipped, with the most advanced video and technical equipment.
Closed circuit hi-resolution monitors and surface/ diver communications are standard equipment on any job. Northeast Diving Services, Inc. has the smallest color video cameras on the market, enabling one, to place cameras in areas, which would normally be impossible for the diver to view.
One example of this would be the viewing of the shaft/seal area through a small port in the shroud.
Still photographic documentation and ultrasonic thickness determination measurements are also available.
Our equipment is maintained to high standards however, we also ensure equipment redundancy as a must for our diving operations. This action eliminates costly lay ups for all involved, during unexpected circumstances.
We are also prepared to perform repairs, provide vacuum boxes and custom fabricate blanks for sea chests, when the need arises.
Detecting a subtle crack or a product leak is a task that is performed with proficiency, when the trained eye is at work. Our divers possess these capabilities.
